A Broadway musical for the whole family!

Miss Nelson's students, the Smedley Elementary School Tornadoes, haven't won a single game and are the worst football team in the state. She enlists Coach Viola Swamp to whip the team into shape and save the day! Join the students on a hilarious musical romp that takes you from the classroom to the gridiron.

Miss Nelson Has a Field Day is considered a family show and is suitable for most audiences.

Pre-Show

Join us in the theater 10 minutes before the show for interactive fun for the whole family! Members of the cast will engage the audience in sing-a-longs and games to shake the sillies out before settling down for Miss Nelson has a Field Day.

Opening Day with Mobile Amaya Papaya

On Opening Day, join the Amaya Papaya crew for themed activities, crafts, and treats under the Starry Dome in the Dr. Phillips Patrons' Room. The fun begins an hour before the show!

ASL Interpreted Performance

Saturday, April 27 at 2 p.m.

American Sign Language interpretation is offered during this performance of Miss Nelson has a Field Day for our patrons who are hard of hearing or deaf. At the time of your ticket purchase, please indicate that you or members of your party will be using this service, so that we may ensure optimal seating locations for viewing of both the interpreters and the stage.
