Mock Trial

The Bard's Board Barristers host the 5th Annual Mock Trial. Using classic plays to explore contemporary legal thought, past mock trials focused on issues arising from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Based on William Shakespeare's Othello, the trial will explore the events that led to the tragic death of Desdemona by the hands of her jealous husband, Othello. Is he truly responsible for this crime of passion? Or should the blame fall upon "honest Iago"? Be prepared for twists and turns as we seek justice through a web of intrigue, jealousy, and revenge.

Join us for hors d'oeuvres before the event and stay to mingle with leading members of Central Florida's legal, business, and artistic communities.
