) Could Braylon even catch the plane to New YorkBraylon Edwards has been traded. Assuming teams game-planned for and adjusted their coverage to account for his presence what does this mean for rookies Mohammad Massaquoi and Brian Robiskie Will they be able to contribute effectivelyBraylon Edwards stock has been on a downward spiral since his 2007 pro-bowl year. Did the Browns recieve enough for this proclaimed pro-bowlreceiver If not, what else could the Browns havereceivedDoes the brotherhood Jets head-coach Rex Ryan and the Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan make it easier to trade with the Jets. Or is the hype about Mangini slow-bleeding the Jets correct Trick question, they fumbled on the Sanchez deal andthat's all that matters. We will see how Robiskie pans out.The Browns running game requires threat of the "long-ball." Will it sufferWith no proven "deep-threat"receiver will the Browns take advantage of numerous talented and athleticreceivers and use more spread-offenseWhat would you have YOUR defense do aside from rushing the passer if all current brownsreceivers were on the field at one time (Use theexample of covering Mo, Robiskie, Furrey, Cribbs, Stuckey at the same time.) Could ONE get openAssuming that you can't catch a ball with either your hands or yourface mask will Robert Royal be replaced by Heiden (From last weeks exam)Derek Anderson showed accuracy, poise, and command in last weeks game versus the Bengals. Will his numbers fall and leave a possibility for the re- emergence of Brady Quinn if the browns cant spread the fieldLast question: Is Edwards absence even going to effect the offense one little bit I mean Braylon Edwards couldn't catch a cold. So long you stiff. . Says States ER System at Risk of Total CollapseLOS ANGELES(Business Wire)Kiesel Boucher Larson has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of a statewidecoalition of emergency room physiciansagainst the State of California Departmentof Health Care Services alleging that a flawed financial structure for theStates emergency departments is putting the entire system at risk of collapse. "This lawsuit should serve as a wake-up call to all Californians that theiraccess to emergency care-our safety net-is in jeopardy," asserted RaymondBoucher of Kiesel Boucher Larson, the lead counsel for the plaintiffs. Californians currently rank last in both emergency room access and emergencydepartments per capita. Despite considerable population growth, 85 hospitals and55 emergency rooms have closed over the past ten years making California firstin the nation in emergency department closures.

Nearly two dozen hospitals inLos Angeles and Orange counties alone are in dire financial straits and indanger of filing bankruptcy or closure. "Those suffering the most from this untenable situation are families who live ininner-cities, rural communities and other low-income areas," says Dr. SteveMaron, President of Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group. "As a directresult of a broken system, these patients must travel farther to find anemergency room, have longer waits once they get there, and receive the leastaccess to much needed on-call specialists Let me be clear. If there is nochange in the system and these trends continue, there will be fewer emergencydoctors available to care for a growing population. Everyone will feel theeffects." Emergency room physicians subsidized California with more than $100 million inservices provided to Medi-Cal patients in 2007 alone.
Over the past decade thecost of providing emergency room treatment has nearly doubled while the patientload has increased by more than 28. Yet, during this period, Medi-Calreimbursements have remained largely stagnant. "In simplest terms, The State has shifted the cost of providing emergency roomcare from the state to the physicians. This unfair, unjust and illegal actionhas placed our emergency room system into a state of crisis," explains Boucher."Physicians, required by state and federal law to provide emergency roomservices, receive reimbursement from the state at rates that are significantlybelow the cost of care. "With access to primary care shrinking, Medi-Calpatients increasingly must turn to emergency departments for care, furtherstraining the system." The suit, filed by Kiesel Boucher Larson, Beverly Hills; Liner YankelevitzSunshine & Regenstreif, Los Angeles; Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins, SanDiego; and Alleguez & Selesnick, Encino; was filed on behalf of CentinelaFreeman Emergency Medical Associates; Valley Presbyterian Emergency MedicalAssociates; Valley Emergency Medical Associates; Sutter Emergency MedicalAssociates; Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group; and others similarlysituated.
